Caregiver Support Groups
We Remember You Support groups for active family caregivers offer these caregivers valuable opportunities to support and learn from one another, as well as from an experienced, certified dementia-care nurse. Loved ones have the option of spending this time at Mindful Care Adult Day Services, just down the hall from the meeting room. Click here to sign up your loved one. These groups occur in various locations, days of the month and times. Contact Lee Ann for the most updated schedule at (615) 801-5570 or at werememberyoucg@gmail.com.
After a loved one with dementia dies, the grief for the caregiver can be unique. This kind of grief can follow a different path than the death of other loved ones because the family caregivers have been experiencing waves of grief ever since the disease was suspected. Beyond Dementia Caregiving is an added program of grief recovery support groups and activities. These groups are offered no matter how long it has been since the loved one has died.
To register for the support groups, please call We Remember You at 615-801-5570 or email at werememberyoucg@gmail.com.

Consultations
There are some caregivers who are unable to leave their homes, for a variety of reasons, to seek education and support. Sometimes a caregiver may have a problem that is just too private to be shared even within the safety of a support group. For another caregiver there may be times of crisis when help may be needed for a professional to suggest management techniques for behaviors of the loved one.For these reasons and others, We Remember You is available for individual meetings in the office, in a home, or in a facility. Please call Lee Ann at (615) 801-5570 to schedule an appointment or for immediate help.
Community Education
We offer educational presentations to lay community, professional groups, civic organizations, and others on any topic of caregiving, senior health issues, and any type o dementia/Alzheimer’s diseases. Please schedule by contacting Lee Ann by phone (615) 801-5570 or email werememberyoucg@gmail.com
